Steel Channel

Steel channels are another shape used for structural reinforcement and support which are similar to beams. Channels however have two flanges connected on one side of the web, creating its rectangular ‘C’ shape. Channels are listed by height when upright, and pounds-per-linear-foot, and they are used in a variety of applications including machinery, construction, or manufacturing.
