Steel Strips
Steel strips are pieces cut to size in widths needed from a larger steel coil. Hot rolled strips specifically go through the process of being rolled at a high temperature to make the steel easier to form and are faster to make than cold finished metal, as they don’t require the additional finishing that occurs afterward. We stock widths of 1/2" up to 6" wide in 1/2" increments. These are used in applications such as manufacturing of equipment like tractors, or making engine components.
Strips:
- Hot rolled steel
- Stock in 20' sections with different lengths available upon request
- Thicknesses of 1/8" - 3/16"
- Widths of 1/2" - 6" in stock with other widths available upon request
- Can saw cut to length per customer requirements
